Sex and gender is often considered to be same by many for a long period of time. However, recently people are trying to understand the difference between the two. According to the sociologists, sex is associated with biological features like reproductive organs and gender is associated with cultural features which people adopt in their lives. Being a male or a female does not mean that their gender would be male or female as well. A male can have feminine attitude which makes him a female by gender.
